Earlier this year, we were commissioned to create a beautiful scheme of furniture for Chateau la Coste in Province, France. This bespoke project was custom-made for 19 of their villa suites in this international destination for art, architecture, wine and natural beauty.

Sitting on the hillside of the private domain, the overall property is surrounded by gardens, flowers and herbs, where each residence opens up onto a terrace offering views of the vines and valley. Tying into the authentic nature of the landscape and respect for the traditions of Provence, we used warm rift oak to produce this luxury collection.

The furniture comprised of wardrobes, vanity units and drawer packs, where every detail was considered for the properties. Leather cow hide was inset into sections of the wardrobes and plush velvet was used to line the drawers. Other materials used included bronze and glass to pull this classical collection together.

The furniture was carefully transported to Province over a series of weeks, ready for its installation on site. We managed to capture it, just before it left for France.
